This Privacy Statement is also a registry statement in accordance with Section 10 of the Personal Data Act (523/1999). 

 

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and we also offer the opportunity to influence data processing. If you wish, you can manage and limit the use of your data through your customer profile.

 

In order to use SpringNet Solution's services, the customer must accept the data collection and processing methods and conditions described in this privacy statement. 

 

The data we collect can be divided into data provided by the user, data observed from the use of online services, and data derived with the help of analytics.

 

We use data:

        - To deliver an easy-to-use and secure service

        - To provide a better customer experience

        - To improve product recommendations and marketing

        - For the development of customer service and online shopping

What information can be collected about me?

Information provided by the user himself or personally identifiable information:

        - Identifying information such as name

        - Personal ID to identify the customer when entering into a credit agreement

        - Contact information, such as address, email address and phone number

        - Payment information, including credit agreements and other billing information

        - Email address and certificate used for Google or Facebook login

The main source of information is the user himself, in addition to which we may receive additional information from our partners, for example from a credit service provider. In accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Regulation, we inform you about the personal data we receive from third parties in the first contact with the customer or within one month of receiving the personal data at the latest.

 

 

What is my personal data used for?

Personal data is used:

        - To maintain the customer

        - For delivery, processing and archiving of orders

        - To develop operations and services

        - To improve the customer experience

        - For analytics and statistical purposes

        - To produce more personalized targeted content and marketing

        - To prevent abuses

        - To provide better customer service

 

The information is processed based on the customer relationship between the customer and springnet, the contract, the use of the site, the customer's separate express consent or legal obligations.

 

How is my data stored and protected?

All  customer information is located in a secure data center in encrypted databases to which access is restricted.  The data centers and the technical aspects of the trade systems and the information security of the processes are at a very high level. The servers are protected against data breaches and denial of service attacks. We follow good data protection practices when processing personal data and technical solutions. In the processing of personal data, the requirements of the EU data protection regulation applicable from 25 May 2018 have been taken into account. All access to personal data is monitored in accordance with good practices. 

 

 

Who processes my personal data?

Only Springet Solution's own employees have access to customer data. Our staff is trained to use data safely and ethically. Our staff sees and processes customer data only to the extent that it is necessary for the performance of work tasks.

 

We use trusted contractual partners, in which case information can be transferred to a third party. The agreements with all partners take into account the requirements set by the EU data protection regulation and other legislation. The partners are not allowed to use the information for their own purposes or share it.

 

How long will my data be kept?

We only keep your personal data for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this statement. In addition, some information can be kept longer to the extent that it is necessary to fulfill the obligations set by law, such as accounting and consumer trade responsibilities, and to demonstrate their proper implementation.

 

At the customer's request, personal information about him can be deleted or anonymized. The deletion and anonymization procedure is irreversible, and we cannot restore deleted customer accounts. 

 

For some information, legislation imposes obligations on the longer-term storage of information, e.g. for the following purposes:

        - The Accounting Act defines longer retention periods for information, regardless of whether the material contains personal data or not

        - Fulfilling responsibilities regarding consumer trade

        - System log information is collected and stored as required by law, so that we can offer legal and safe online shopping to our customers

        - Taking sufficient backups of the shop's databases and systems in order to secure data, correct error situations and verify data security and continuity

 

What rights do I have?

As a customer, you have the right to:

        - Get access to your personal data, including the right to receive a copy of your personal data

        - Requests correction or deletion of personal data about you

        - Under certain conditions, request restriction of processing or object to the processing of personal data

 

In addition, if the processing is based on a separate consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note that this does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent. You can change your settings through your customer profile. You can make a request to exercise your rights by contacting our customer service. 

 

If you notice that the processing has flaws or is illegal, you have the right to file a complaint with the data protection authorities. Please also contact us so that we can correct our mistake. 

 

How can I influence the use of my data?

We are committed to offering our customers opportunities to influence the processing of their data.

 

You yourself can decide on the marketing targeted at you and decide whether you want to receive different marketing messages. You can find the options in your customer profile. We are constantly developing our service, so functions can be added, changed or removed.

 

You can also terminate your customer account at any time and ask us to delete your personal data by contacting our customer service. Note! In some cases, not all information can be deleted, and legislation may require us to retain some of the information related to the customer.

 

Will my personal data be transferred to third parties?

We may hand over some necessary information to third parties to guarantee delivery to the carrier and the payment intermediary. Your information is also forwarded to the credit granting agency in connection with the credit decision.

 

We also use customer data with third parties for analytics and personalization purposes. We use purchasing behavior and browsing information with partners so that we can better offer products and offers that interest you. Information used for analytics and personalization purposes is always anonymized whenever possible. 

 

If necessary, we also hand over information to the authorities. We always also inform the customer about information requests, if it is allowed within the framework of the law.

 

We pass on information to the following third parties:

        - For analytics and statistics partners

        - To the transport company

        - When paying with a payment card to the payment intermediary

        - To the credit provider, when the customer chooses the credit company's invoice or partial payment as payment method

        - To the debt collection company, when the invoices are due and going into debt collection

 

When transferring and processing data, we ensure a high level of data security and protection in accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation. The means of ensuring the level of data processing by third parties are the model contract clauses approved by the European Commission, the data protection regulations binding the group (BCR arrangement), the EU-US Privacy Shield agreement or another approved method according to the data protection regulation.

 

The customer can limit the disclosure of information for marketing and analytics purposes. You can familiarize yourself with the privacy functions by logging into your customer account.

 

Cookies 

SpringNet Solution uses cookies ("cookies"). Cookies are small text files between the end device's browser and the server. Cookies and other identifiers have a defined validity period, after which the browser deletes the identifier. We use these technologies to implement functions, for personalization and for analytics and marketing targeting.

 

Functional cookies, e.g. for customer identification, login maintenance and Shopping Cart functions. Accepting the use of cookies for these functions is mandatory. The functional cookies set by the server remain in the browser from 15 minutes to 24 months, unless they are separately deleted from the browser settings. Visiting the website sets cookies  again if the browser allows it.

 

The information used for analytics and marketing targeting is anonymized whenever possible. Otherwise, we treat the information as personal to the extent that the identifier contains customer-targeting information, such as an IP address. Identifiers that are connected to the customer in some way are also treated as personal information. The validity period of tags used for analytics and marketing targeting is 30s-24 months. We use Google Analytics, e.g. in analytics related to the use of our site, popular products, trends and sales. The information sent to Google is anonymized. The right to change the privacy statement

Due to the development of services and changes in legislation, we reserve the right to change the data protection statement. We will inform our customers about significant changes separately. 

 

This Privacy Statement replaces the previous registry statement.
